This course was focused on the process of design; finding inspiration in the common nuances of life, and transforming them into art.

It was in Paris where I discovered and unapologetically unleashed my true creativity.

The prompt for this assignment was to create a full ensemble from exclusively thrifted items. I chose to play with the masculinity of men’s structured garments turned sexy and feminine showcasing the fluidity of fashion.

pOp!

pOp! was inspired by the shapes and colors of Claud Monet’s home in Giverny, France. Playing with whimsical brush strokes and appliqué, this ensemble embodies the playfulness of the garden.
